COCA-COLA PAVILION, 2008 BEIJING OLYMPICS

As part of the Video Arts team in San Francisco, I produced and edited video elements for five exhibition spaces in The Coca-Cola Pavilion at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The 40,000-square-foot pavilion showcased the company’s long history and sponsorship of the Olympic Games. The three-story building was a popular site on the Olympic Green, with more than 10,000 daily visitors. Prior to the opening of the pavilion, I worked onsite to adapt the visual elements to the spaces.  During the Olympics, I supervised a team of editors to produce daily game highlights, which played in the Media Arena.

The two videos below show the scope of the project. The first is a tour of the Coca-Cola Pavilion and the second is the video that appeared on the 40-foot theater screen.

Tour of the Coca-Cola Pavilion

Red Passion Theater Presentation - the video starts with standard definition footage then as the story unfolds, expands to encompass the full 40-foot screen.
